ManifestiV

Originally formed as an experimental industrial duo in 2014 by two morticians that met in Dallas, TX, the core of ManifestiV is Paragraph “¶” Taylor, Houston-born guitarist/programmer and Lillith, Queens, NY-born vibraphonist/visual artist. Combining their instruments in innovative ways, ManifestiV score the apocalypse by helping usher humanity off Earth to explore and build upon other worlds.

In 2015, after Lillith hand-built her electronic vibraphone, the duo recorded and released their debut Einer Sie Gern. Since then, ManifestiV has only paused touring for Burning Man and travels to Southeast Asia, Central America and Europe. Their sophomore release God is a Martian was recorded in 2018 at the Grammy®-winning Prairie Sun Studios in California, and 2019 saw the release of 3vE (including a remix from fellow GIVE/TAKE artist Bijou Noir). Shortly thereafter, ¶ and Lillith recruited bassist Kevin Porter and drummer Ryan A and the ManifestiV quad debuted opening for My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult.

Amidst writing for their next release in 2020, ManifestiV released a crowdfunded, animated music video with Rage Art / MHR Cartoon for the God is a Martian single “Just Wait”, which follows a deer and her fawn through fire-stricken northern California. The laureled mini-feature directed by Lillith, preceded its monochromatic live performance counterpart video for “Baroque” from the same release, directed by ¶. It was also around this time that ManifestiV lent their remix skills to DEATHDANCE for the GIVE/TAKE released Tasted Me Reawakened. By year’s end, the quad tracked their first recording together at the founding duo’s east Texan rural location, releasing the EP Horsemen in early 2021.

The group’s brand-new full-length effort is a warning and a bold statement: the connections we share and the infinite possibilities of humanity are worth fighting for.

The groundbreaking, heavy psychedelic charge, Legacy, on limited CD (with plastic-free packaging) and digital is available worldwide now. Not to be missed live, the band plans to tour beginning summer 2023.
