EbE404

Not found. Not seen. Not known. Only felt. EbE404 is that welcome chill that creeps up unexpectedly as the dusk drifts in with its spirits and ethereal lights. We are all safer in the dark. Alone but together, channeling the same energies and ether, joining the choruses of unheard music at last given voice in the gloom.

EbE404’s sound is an evolving and shifting one, combining post-industrial sounds and dark ambient aesthetics into a blend of fluctuating sonic narratives. Evoking elements of Coil, Nurse With Wound, and Lustmord, their sonic landscapes are a combination of modular and analog synths supplemented with digital electronics, field recordings, and found objects. Alternating between dark and lush drones to piercing and glitchy noise, their work is an experimentation with what the world sounds like when run through the filter of dread, worry, and the collapse of modern civilization.

Inrush, the follow-up to 2020’s Tedium and Loss, which Side-Line Magazine calls “a true masterpiece” is a sprawling continuous-mix style LP full of modular spasms, insect-like swarms, glitches and rich, ominous soundscapes.

Ripple, Inrush’s cognate companion featuring guest appearances from ManifestiV, Tiree & Hutch, Dissociate and KPT is also available now.
